St. Albert's Province Shows Spirit of St. Dominic

The Province of St. Albert the Great is one of the youngest of the thirty-three provinces of the Dominican Order. Yet this young province is already aflame with the spirit of St. Dominic. Its growth and expansion have been rapid; its work in the apostolate has been most successful.
Following the example of their Holy Founder, the members of St. Alberes Province in the short period of sixteen years have clearly manifested the zeal
so characteristic of the sons of St. Dominic. Since its. founding, the province has erected priories, parishes, missions, and new centers of study. Many young men have joined the ranks of the province, eager to share in the work for the salvation of souls. This work of teaching and preaching in parishes, schools and missions takes the priests of the province into twenty states in the mid-west and south. And the province recently started sending priests to the foreign missions.
