As a result of a meeting on philosophy in the Order held recently in Rome at the request of the last General Chapter, Benedict Ashley has prepared a "Guide" for teachers and students stating the principal elements of our Dominican philosophical tradition that remain important sources for the study of theology and preaching in view of current problems. He would appreciate comments from everyone for revisions of this Guide before it is presented to the next General Chapter by the Master of the Order's Assistant for the Intellectual Life.
