Parents
The Parent’s Club of the Province of St. Albert the Great Province of the Order of Preachers seeks to support the parents of our men in formation and to foster their growth in the Christian life. We are therefore committed to:
Mission Statement
- Fostering the community that exists between the many parents of our brothers in formation as well as the community that exists between the parents and the friars of our Province.
- Sharing with the parent’s of our brothers in formation the rich traditions of the Order of Preachers and educating them in the practical details of religious life.
- Promoting the spiritual traditions of the Order of Preachers so that the parent’s of our brothers in formation may participate in the work of their sons’ As stated in the primitive constitutions of the Order of Preachers, “The Order of Preachers, founded by St. Dominic, ‘is known to have been established, from the beginning, for preaching and the salvation of souls, specifically.”
Parents Club Annual Retreat
- The next annual Parents Club Retreat is September 18-20, 2009.
