Moving the Statue

1. The statue is being crated
for shipment by boat to Portugal,
after which excelsior was placed
on the floor and the crate was pushed
onto it. All windows and doors
were first opened to allow
for the displacement of air
as the large crate fell to the floor.
2. It is loaded onto the boat
at Livorno (Italy).
3. Sign reads:"Gift of the
Catholics of North America
to the Shrine at Fatima."
4. Statue is brought
to the Shrine;
Dominicans can be seen
in the foreground.
